How To Fight The Nuances Of Alcohol Poisoning

Consuming a large amount of alcohol can lead to a depressive state of mind. A person addicted to strong alcohol consumption would face serious health problems. His/her liver would soon lose the ability to metabolize the amount of alcohol consumed, resulting in making the blood toxic. High alcohol content in blood may result in displaying certain symptoms. The body would respond through vomiting and other functional disorders. There can be difficulty in breathing during vomiting that happens as a result of heavy alcohol intake. It can result in even death!

A person consuming a high amount of alcohol on a regular or frequent basis may experience low life expectancy rate. However, the survival rate depends strongly upon the fact how well the symptoms of alcohol poisoning are determined. Although frequent drinkers are most common to alcohol poisoning scenarios, those who try it for the first time may also experience a certain reaction. Basically, the entire scenario depends strongly on the nutritional status and body type as well health condition of the person consuming the drink. However, you must keep in mind that signs and alcohol poisoning symptoms may not occur all the time. They may occur suddenly, leading to severe consequences.

Common symptoms of alcohol poisoning

·         Sudden change of skin color and pigmentation (a sort of pale blueish color)

Consuming alcohol in large volume is extremely harmful to the health. It results in depressing the nerves that control the involuntary actions like a heartbeat, gag, breathing, reflex actions, etc. that would keep you from choking. With high alcohol intake, these choking preventive functions tend to slow down. At times, some functions may stop completely. In fact, it may lead to abnormally dropping off body temperature. There can be cardiac arrest, rise, and fall of blood sugar level, and also result in spilling out blood while vomiting. There can be asphyxiation. i.e. difficulty in breathing. People consuming alcohol in high amount may also suffer from severe brain damage.
